Meet our traffic control team in Junosuando! They monitor all our trucks around the clock and can track things like speed, fuel consumption and the location of the vehicles. When needed, they can support and assist the drivers. In this video, you’ll learn more about their daily work.

Jan-Erik Mäkitalo
Since 2018, Jan-Erik Mäkitalo has been working as a supervisor at the concentrator plant. Together with his colleagues, he is responsible for the process that refines ore into concentrate.
Truck operator

Our trucks carry between 100-200 tons of ore per load, which is then transported to the crusher for further processing or to the waste rock storage. Meet Moa and Matilda, who share more about their roles as truck drivers.

Lasse Mäkitalo and his colleagues in the drilling team drill holes according to a predetermined drilling plan. It’s a complex job where they learn something new every day.

As a measuring technician, Caroline Åberg often works out in the mine, taking measurements and flying drones that scan surfaces and stockpiles. It’s a varied job that also involves a lot of office work, since much data needs to be processed and analyzed.
