Safety always goes first, before thoughts of profitability even. We must never waive safety routines and the basic responsibility we have to ensure a working environment that upholds the safety of all employees and contractors.
We work constantly to improve the guidelines and routines that surround our day-to-day work. We also train and inform constantly, to maintain awareness of the risks that exist if we do not correctly follow the routines.
But – safety work extends beyond our gates: outside the industrial area, our heavy lorries use public roads, and therefore we are investing 127 mSEK in cooperation with the Transport Administration to improve these road stretches. The total investment is 1,200 mSEK.
Our facility is Seveso-classed since we handle chemicals: both fuels such as diesel and blasting agent. We have according to the EU requirements a clear responsibility to prevent chemical accidents at our industrial facility and to protect the public in the event of an accident.
