Pay determination is according to collective agreements. Collectively, you come under the current collective agreement between the employers’ federation Gruvornas Arbetsgivareförbund and the union IF Metall – Gruvavtalet.
Office employees come under the current collective agreement between Industriarbetsgivarna and Unionen, Ledarna and Sveriges ingenjörer. Pay determination is individual.
In the transport section Malmtransport norr, the collective agreement that applies is between Transportarbetarförbundet and Transportföretagen (the Transport Agreement).
Yes. At Kaunis Iron there is an annual health promotion contribution of 2,000 SEK which you can use according to Tax Agency rules. We also provide data glasses and safety goggles.
Today we operate the following shifts:
Drilling
Round-the-clock shifts. Night-night-free-day-day then 5 days free.
Loading and transport
7-7 shift. Tuesday-Monday morning shift, free week, Tuesday-Monday afternoon shift, free week.
Round-the-clock shifts. Night-night-free-day-day and 5 free days (after the turn of the year 2020).
Concentration plant
Round-the-clock shifts. Night-night-free-day-day then 5 free days.
Malmtransport norr
A number of different shift systems are operated.
Among office employees we have both shift-working personnel and daytime personnel.
Under the collective agreement, there is a maximum of 200 hours’ overtime a year. This can be taken out as free time or money.
A class B driving licence is a minimum requirement.
We have dispensation to drive 90-tonne lorries, and that requires a class CE driving licence and driver qualification card.
For safety reasons, if you are going to work in production with us you must be able to understand and make yourself understood in Swedish.
